About Dr. Tawfik Azrak

Dr. Azrak works as an Assistant Professor at the Social Science University of Ankara – Turkey. Early in his career, he worked at the International Shari'ah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA) for two years and did practical training in the Shari’ah department at Asian Finance Bank. He had published several projects and research papers dealing with various issues related to Accounting and Islamic finance, both in Arabic and English languages. 

He achieved his Ph.D. in Islamic Banking and Finance from the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) and a Master Degree in Islamic Finance from The Global University of Islamic Finance (INCEIF), where he got a scholarship from the Islamic Research and Training Institute (IRTI). His bachelor’s degree is from Damascus University in Economics in the year 2010.
